The PE film blowing process includes heating, pulling and winding, and the heating is divided into 5 zones.
Zones 1, 2, and 3 are heating zones (preheating), where the temperature gradually rises. Temperature control is crucial. Too low a temperature prevents discharge, while too high a temperature can easily cause deformation and distortion. Taking an 80 film blowing machine as an example, Zone 1 is at a low temperature of approximately 170°C, while the following two zones are higher. Zone 4 (the three-way zone) also serves as the heating zone. It primarily contains a filter that filters and prevents impurities from the raw material from entering Zone 5. The clarity and smoothness of the blown PE film are determined by the filter. A larger mesh size (smaller openings) results in a finer filtration, resulting in a smoother film. However, a smaller mesh size can cause raw material to accumulate. The discharge zone in Zone 5 is crucial, requiring strict control of temperature and flow. The temperature rise process must be appropriately controlled based on the conditions at the discharge port. Excessively high or low temperatures can affect film formation. Zone 5 is equipped with a blower to accelerate film formation. Furthermore, uneven film thickness at the discharge port must be adjusted using the film head thread.
